Arada Café - Delicious Lebanese Food in the heart of Istanbul

Whenever I am meeting with friends it is a pleasure to discover new restaurants and boutique cafes. Luckily Istanbul is filled with delicious gems and if you are in the mood for other cuisines than Turkish, there are plenty of choices. One morning we woke up and decided to try a new breakfast place. When checking Zomato, a Lebanese café popped up and everybody was raving about it. So we took he tram from Eminonu until Tophane and went up to Arada Café.

In the morning the street was so quite, you could only hear the soft music coming from the charming corner café. When we entered, the staff was just adorable, trying to accommodate us the best possible. There are three seating options – inside, outside on the street, or on their roof terrace. The décor has a nostalgic touch, with its old gramophone, typewriters, velvet chairs and laced drapes. You’ll definitely have plenty to admire until the food arrives.

When scanning the menu you will see a variety of choices, a mix between Turkish and Lebanese cuisine. Since it was early morning, we decided to go for their breakfast, but promised to ourselves we’ll be back for a cosy dinner.

Our table was filled with tiny colorful bowls and plates, full of unique and exciting flavors and fresh bread.
