The Most Colorful Medieval City in Europe – Sighisoara, Romania

My biggest joy when visiting a place is to take my time, get lost, analyze details and eat my way through all that adventure. Sighisoara is a great place to do so, with its pedestrian-friendly old town, cobbled narrow streets with colorful buildings and delicious smells of home-cooked food.  The citadel is actually a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a history dating back to the 1100s.
